We had antastic attractions which included live presentations and forums from leading anglers, interactive rig and bait clinics - your chance to meet the experts. Plus, fun and games on our indoor lake with tons of great prizes up for grabs.

 

Carpin'On 2010 highlights

Believe us when we say that if you missed Carpin' On 2010, you missed out! Thousands of carp-crazy anglers turned out to be treated to an array of talks, slideshows and demonstrations from some of the biggest names and hottest carping talent around, and also bagged-up on freebies, giveaways and bargains galore. Just in case you did miss it though, or you want to relive some of the best bits, here are the highlights...

Show-goers queued to get in on Saturday morning – and they weren't disappointed once they got inside.

Rob Hughes listened as the captor of the world's biggest carp (a 94lb monster!), Solar Tackle boss Martin Locke, right, left the audience slack-jawed as he described coming face to face with a carp bigger than Kylie Minogue!

Trakker consultant Mark Bryant had the crowd's attention as he showed off an innovative new paste bait from Baitworks.

 

 

 

Thinking Tackle live! Danny Fairbrass and Ali Hamidi of Korda captivated the audience with their thoughts on the technical side of carp fishing.

It was standing room only for most of the talks and demos on the main stage.

Our man Jules looked on as the Fox team gave a great rig demonstration at the Rig & Bait Clinic.

 

 

 

As usual, Terry Hearn's slots on the main stage proved to be real crowd-pullers. Terry joined Martin Locke and Lee Jackson for a talk about catching record-breaking carp, and also held court with an inspiring slideshow covering his recent River Thames exploits.

It was a busy weekend for Mark Hutchinson on the Ultima stand.

As in previous years, the audience hung on John Wilson's every word during his stints on the main stage.

 

 

 

This lucky fella won a holiday package worth nearly £4,000 to Lake Bossard!

Crafty's new boy Jason Sandiford shared his culinary knowledge with show-goers on the Angling Publications stand.

Crafty's 48 Hours duo Dave Benton and Chris Boyda treated onlookers to a demonstration of some of their top quick-hit rigs and tactics.

 

 

 

The team from Tony's Tackle were kept busy all day as show-goers grabbed bargains galore.

Derek Ritchie gave away thousands of pounds' worth of prizes during his Bait Boat Racing and Cast-Off stints on the main stage.

 

 

 

This lucky youngster got to join Korda's Ali Hamidi on the Rig & Bait stand for some hands-on bait-making experience.

The Linear Fisheries team were on hand to give out copies of their new brochure and DVD.

Show-goers could buy items from the new Diem range of clothing at the Johnson Ross stand.
